About Us
We are not just a business, we are two sisters whose bond was forged in the fires of loss and survival. Within a short period, we faced the devastating loss of our grandmother, our father, and our mother. Soon after, the same genetic legacy that took our father manifested in my sister as Stage 3 colon cancer.
She fought and won the battle, but the aftermath of surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiation left her with chronic pain and anxiety that prevented her from returning to a traditional 9-to-5 job. Instead of surrendering, we decided to build our own path.
Purpura Soul Box was born from our need to heal. We began creating the weighted pillows that brought my sister comfort during her recovery, realizing that thousands of other women were also searching for a 'hug for the soul' amidst their own chaos. We aren't just selling products; we are sharing the very tools that kept us standing, and the ones we wish we had when we were facing our own darkest and most challenging moments!
